We understand that voting can be a complicated process, especially with the current voter disenfranchisement that is happening across the country.
We have created this guide to voting, which will lead you through the information you need to make sure you are ready to vote and that your vote is counted.

To register you must be:
At least 18 years old
A U.S. Citizen
A Missouri Resident

Reasons for voting absentee
Absent from your district on Election day
Incapacity due to illness or disability
Religious belief or practice
Employment as an election worker, first responder, or health care worker
Incarceration
Participant in an confidentiality program
How to vote absentee
Request an absentee ballot from your local election authority by July 22nd
Return your absentee ballot by August 4th

All voters can vote early starting July 21st! Only select polling places will be open for early voting.

Acceptable Forms of Identification
Non-expired Missouri driver or non-drive license
Non-expired military or veteran’s ID
Non-expired United States passport
Another photo ID issued by United States or Missouri that is not expired or expired after the date of most recent general election
If you DO NOT have a photo ID
If you are registered to vote but do not have identification, you can still vote by casting a provisional ballot on election day.

If you are displaced from the May 2025 tornado, or experiencing homelessness, you still have your right to vote!
If you are experiencing displacement, you may need to update your voter registration.
If you are temporarily displaced and intend to return to your home, you do not need to re-register.
If your home was destroyed and/or you are living elsewhere, you must register at the address you are temporarily living.
If you are living at a shelter, you can register under the shelter address.

If you have completed probation and/or parole, you are eligible to register and vote.
If you are in jail awaiting trial, you can still register and vote.
This does not apply for those who were convicted of an election-related crime.
