Amendment 4

Amendment 4 would END direct democracy in Missouri.

This is a blatant attempt to make it harder for Missouri voters to pass laws that support our families and communities.

Examples of citizen-led petitions that we passed

  • Legalization of Marijuana

  • Increased Missouri’s minimum wage to $15/hr

  • Medicaid expansion

  • Ended Missouri’s Abortion Ban

NONE of these would have been possible without the Initiative Petition process.

Amendment 5

Amendment 5 will eliminate the state income tax and allow Republicans to replace that funding by increasing sales tax an extreme amount.

You could pay higher sales tax on things like:

  • INSURANCE

  • RENT

  • SCHOOL TUITION

  • CAR REPAIRS

  • CHILDCARE

  • SHIPPING & DELIVERY
